A Call to Support an Injured Greenville Officer

A Greenville police officer was ambushed in the line of duty by an incendiary device, sustaining severe, life altering injuries.

This officer stepped forward to protect our community, and now faces a long and difficult recovery. The impact reaches beyond the officer alone, affecting their family and loved ones during a time of sudden uncertainty.

The Greenville Police Foundation is providing immediate financial assistance and ongoing support to help ease this burden, but we cannot do it alone.

We are asking our community to stand with this officer.

Your support ensures that those injured protecting Greenville are not left to face recovery alone. Please give today and help us care for an officer who gave everything in service to our city.

Where Support Becomes Action

The Greenville Police Foundation exists to strengthen the bond between our community and the officers who serve it.

Through private funding, we provide direct support to officers injured in the line of duty, helping cover critical needs, recovery resources, and assistance so they and their families are never left to face those challenges alone.

Every contribution directly impacts the people behind the badge and the community they protect.

Because a stronger police department creates a safer Greenville—for everyone.

Security

We fully support the  mission of “collaborating with our community to prevent crime, promote safety and enhance quality of life for our residents, workers and visitors.”
As a non-profit entity, The Greenville Police Foundation works to support the needs of the GPD, through direct and indirect officer support and officer recognition

safety

At the Greenville Police Foundation, we strive to create a safe city that is good for business, for our community, and for our future. The Foundation seeks to find ways to support The Greenville Police Department’s success as police services are critical to community safety, quality of life, and economic success.

Community

There are well over a hundred police foundations in the United States and the list of communities and agencies with police foundations is growing. Jurisdictions of all sizes, geographic locations, and budgets have joined in these ventures, resulting in safer, happier, more successful cities. The Greenville Police Foundation will always strive to claim these virtues as well!
